14K marguerite pivoting pendant 1920'

Availability: In stock

A 14K (583/000) yellow gold and silver Art-Déco pendant in the form of a marguerite on a silver chain with 14 rose cut diamonds of yellowish and brownish color. The central diamond is set on foil to enhance the color and all diamonds have closed backings. The diamonds are set in silver. The central diamond of approx.. 0.20 cts is surrounded by 11 diamonds of circa 0.02 cts each. The marguerite has a stem that pivots at 30 degrees horizontally and vertically in the middle of the stem. The diamond shaped top has 2 eyelets on each side where the silver chain is secured.

What I think of it?
The pivots design lend itself very well to body movements. So it moves along with you and it stays in its place. A lovely classic pendant for every day wear. Although the photo caught the color of the diamonds really well, in day light the diamonds appear to be white and have a nice sparkle.

2 marks on the “stem” of the marguerite

3. 925 for sterling silver on the lock of the chain

The diamonds are tested and weighed in their setting.
