What I think about it?

This design is in the style of the famous zipper necklace of the 1940s. The golden balls represent the zipper teeth. It's a heavy necklace and it falls beautifully in the neck.

A 18K (750/000) yellow gold neck tie necklace or “collier cravate” reminiscent of the zipper necklace through a double line of gold balls resembling a zipper. The necklace consists of a double row of rectangular links ending in a half round barrel from which 4 pampilles dangle. The barrel and fringes are made of 2 tones of gold. The necklace is secured by a flat box clasp with safety catch.
