A 18K yellow gold diamond and ruby choker from the 1950, also know as" Collier Cravate" or tie necklace. The tie is tied together with a double demi circle of prong set small round brilliant cut diamonds and ruby’s. The first row of the demi circle consists of nine diamonds and the second row has six ruby’s in total.

Details

A Dutch 18K yellow gold diamond and ruby choker from the 1950’ in the form of a tie. The « tie » is tied together with a double demi circle of prong set small round brilliant cut diamonds and ruby’s. The first row of the demi circle consists of 9 diamonds, from which 5 diamonds are of 0.05 cts and 4 diamonds are of 0.04 cts. The diamonds are SI1/SI2 and I-J in color. The second row has 6 ruby’s in total, from which 4 ruby’s of circa 0.08 cts and 2 of 0.06 cts. The ruby’s are in used condition, but are of very nice red color. The ruby’s are treated.

Diamonds : total carat weight circa 0.41 cts. Ruby’s : total carat weight circa 0.44 cts

Condition: the choker has been repaired on the back near the knot of the tie (see photos)
