Details
A 18K (750/0000) white gold brooch from the 1950s representing a sheaf of wheat made of small undulating bars in a arabesque style. The grains are made of claw set brilliant cut diamonds and the sheaf is hold together by a double row of paved single cut diamonds.
French hallmarks:
French hibou or owl for 18K gold on the brooch and on the pin
Diamonds:
9 x brilliant and old cut diamonds approx 0.15 cts in I-J / SI 1 and I1
3 x brilliant cut diamonds approx 0.10 en 0.12 cts
14 x 8/8 single cut diamonds approx 0.03 en 0.05 cts
26 brilliant and single cut diamonds in total with an estimated carat weight of 2.22 cts
